Travelling with children? If you're visiting Thailand, this is a lovely way to help children understand the spirit houses, temple guardians and offerings they'll see everywhere — print it before you leave, or bring it along to talk about what you spot.

How to use it — in class or at home
Teachers can build a full lesson around it; parents can dip in and out. The worksheet does the guiding — no expertise needed. It's a warm way into talking about belief, respect for nature, and how different cultures explain the world.
Watch the film together on the film page (about 4 minutes).
Hand out the printed worksheet, or work through it on the board — or side by side at home.
Use activities 1–4 straight after watching; save the design task and "Stories where you live" for quiet time or homework.
Finish by sharing the guardians pupils designed, and their own family or local stories.
Curriculum alignment
The bigger point: Thailand is the subject, but the skill is learning to understand any culture — seeing how the stories people tell carry their values, and treating beliefs different from our own with curiosity and respect.
